German psychologist
Gustav Theodor Fechner was a German psychologist who made significant contributions to the field of psychology. He is best known for his work on the Fechner scale, which describes the relationship between physical and psychological stimuli. Fechner was born in 1801 in Schweidnitz, Prussia and studied medicine at the University of Leipzig. He went on to become a professor of psychology at the University of Leipzig and made numerous contributions to the field of psychology, including the discovery of the Fechner scale.
