Gregorio Álvarez

Gregorio Álvarez was a Uruguayan politician who served as the President of Uruguay from 1976 to 1981. He was a key figure in the country's last military dictatorship and was known for his authoritarian policies. Álvarez was also a strong supporter of the military regime and was responsible for many human rights abuses during his presidency.
