Gordon Pennycook

Gordon Pennycook is a professor of psychology at the University of Waterloo. He has a background in cognitive psychology and has published several papers on topics such as misinformation, confirmation bias, and the psychology of social media. He is known for his work on how people process and evaluate information online, and how this can lead to the spread of misinformation. Dr. Pennycook has also written for several science publications and has given several public talks on his research. He is based in Waterloo, Ontario.
