Gideon Nez

Gideon Nez is an Israeli politician and journalist. He has served as the Mayor of Nazareth since 2018. Nez was born in 1979 in Israel and studied law at Hebrew University. After completing his studies, he worked as a journalist for several years before entering politics. In 2018, Nez won the mayoral election in Nazareth, becoming one of the first Arabs to hold the position in the city's history. Nez has been an outspoken advocate for Arab rights and social justice.
