Gholamreza Soleimani
Former Iranian Basij force commander
Gholamreza Soleimani was a former Iranian Basij force commander. He was responsible for overseeing the country's military forces in the region and was involved in several high-profile conflicts with the West. Soleimani was killed in a US drone strike in 2020. He has a Ph.D. in international relations from the University of Tehran and has taught at several universities. Soleimani is based in Tehran, Iran.
