Gary Tuggle is an American police commissioner. He is the commissioner of the Baltimore Police Department. Tuggle has been a police officer for over 30 years and has served in various roles within the department, including as a police commissioner. He has been a vocal advocate for police reform and has worked to address issues of police brutality and misconduct. Tuggle has also been a strong supporter of community policing and has worked to build relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve. He has received numerous awards for his service, including the National Police Association's Police Commissioner of the Year award. Tuggle is a graduate of the University of Maryland and has a master's degree in public administration from the University of Maryland, College Park.
