Gao Xijun, also known as Ko Hsi-Chun in English, is a renowned Taiwanese economist and cultural entrepreneur. He is best known for introducing the concept of 'there ain't no such thing as a free lunch' to Taiwan and for his significant contributions to cultural dissemination in the region. At the age of ninety, he published his memoir, 'Gao Xijun's Memoir: From 'There Ain't No Such Thing as a Free Lunch' to 'Peaceful Happiness'.
