G.K. Chesterton was a British author, philosopher, and theologian. He is best known for his works of fiction, particularly the Father Brown detective stories, as well as his non-fiction writings on philosophy, politics, and theology. Chesterton was a prominent figure in the Catholic intellectual movement of the early 20th century.
