Fred Abramowitz is a retired natural resources attorney, author, and ultrarunning veteran. He is best known for co-founding and co-directing the Run Rabbit Run race in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where he introduced a $100,000 prize purse in 2012, the largest in any trail ultra at the time. He has completed 75 ultras and authored 'Travels in Africa'.
