Franklin Pierce

Franklin Pierce was the 14th President of the United States. He served from 1853 to 1857 and was a member of the Democratic Party. Pierce was born in Hillsborough, New Hampshire, and graduated from Bowdoin College. He later attended Bowdoin Law School and was admitted to the bar in 1833.
