Frank Finkel

Frank Finkel was a veteran of the 7th cavalry who waited 44 years to tell his story of the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Finkel was a private in the 7th cavalry and was present at the battle. He was one of the few survivors of the battle and his story was initially discounted as a lie. However, thanks to the work of historians, Finkel's story has been proven true. Finkel is now in his 90s and lives in a nursing home in Montana.
