Fernando López

Fernando López is the current Minister of Fomento Rural, a position he has held since 2019. He is a Uruguayan politician and has been a member of the National Coalition for the Defence of the State (Coalición Nacional para la Defensa del Estado). Prior to his ministerial position, he served as a deputy in the Uruguayan Chamber of Deputies. López has been a strong advocate for rural development and has implemented several policies to promote agriculture and livestock in Uruguay.
