Eric Arthur Blair

Eric Arthur Blair, better known by his pen name George Orwell, was a British author, journalist, and critic. He is best known for his dystopian novel 1984 and his allegorical novella Animal Farm. Blair was a prominent figure in the literary world and was known for his strong opinions on politics and society. He was born in Motihari, India, and died in London, England.
