Elizabeth Vargas

Elizabeth Vargas is an American journalist and television host. She is best known for her work as a correspondent for ABC News and her appearances on 20/20 and Nightline. Vargas has won several awards for her reporting, including multiple Emmy Awards. She has also written a memoir, 'The Girl's Guide to Hunting, Fishing, and Foraging'. Vargas is a graduate of the University of Virginia and has a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University. She is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Vargas has been open about her struggles with anxiety and depression, using her platform to raise awareness and support for mental health initiatives.
