Elisabeth Fritzl is an Austrian woman who was kidnapped and held captive by her father for 24 years. She was subjected to physical and emotional abuse, and gave birth to seven children while in captivity. After her escape in 2008, Elisabeth has become a prominent advocate for victims of kidnapping and abuse. She has written a book about her experiences and has spoken publicly about her ordeal.
