Edward Teller

Edward Teller was a Hungarian-American physicist and engineer who made significant contributions to the development of nuclear weapons and the hydrogen bomb. He was a prominent figure in the Manhattan Project and was awarded the Enrico Fermi Award for his work. Teller was also a vocal advocate for space exploration and was a strong supporter of the US space program. He was born in Budapest, Hungary and immigrated to the US in the 1940s. Teller passed away in 2003 at the age of 95.
