DeWitt Wallace

DeWitt Wallace was an American businessman and publisher. He was the co-founder of Reader's Digest and served as its president from 1922 to 1976. Wallace was also a successful investor and philanthropist. He was known for his conservative views and his support of the Republican Party. Wallace was born in 1896 and died in 1985.
