Derek Cianfrance

Derek Cianfrance is an American film director, screenwriter, and actor. He is known for directing the films Blue Valentine, The Place Beyond the Pines, and A Most Violent Year. Cianfrance has received critical acclaim for his work, including several Independent Spirit Award nominations. He has also acted in several films, including the TV series The Leftovers.
