About Denis

Denis Rader is a former serial killer who was active in the 1970s and 1980s. He is also known as the BTK Killer, which stands for Bind, Torture, Kill. Rader was arrested in 2005 and subsequently confessed to 10 murders. He is currently serving 10 consecutive life sentences at the El Dorado Correctional Facility in Kansas. Rader is a native of Kansas and was raised in a conservative Christian household.
