Dean Arnold Corll was an American serial killer and sex offender. He is known as the "Candy Man" for distributing free candy to his victims before killing them. Corll was born on March 24, 1939, in Waco, Texas, and grew up in Houston, Texas. He was arrested on April 8, 1973, and confessed to 28 murders. Corll was executed by lethal injection on April 30, 1974.
