David Swain

David Swain is an American man who was accused of killing his wife, Shelley, in 1999. Swain had been on vacation with his wife in Tortola when she drowned, and he was subsequently accused of murder. Swain's case drew widespread attention due to the tragic circumstances of his wife's death and the false accusations against him. The case remains one of the most infamous in the history of 48 Hours.
