David Polonsky

Dovid Polonski is a well known Israeli artist and painter. He was born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1964. Dovid moved to Israel at the age of three after his family fled Soviet Union due to the political climate. Dovid received his B.A. degree from Tel Aviv University's Department of Painting and Sculpture and also holds an MFA in painting. He is known for his artistic expression as well as his involvement with various organizations that support the arts. In 2011, he was appointed by former Mayor of Tel Aviv Yair Shalev to lead a committee on street art. Dovid Polonsky has been married to his wife Rachel for over 25 years.
