David Peter Haarhaus

David Peter Haarhaus was a former CEO of a model train company who was sentenced for amassing over 4,000 child abuse images over a period of 15 years. His crimes spanned from 2011 to the time of his sentencing. Haarhaus pleaded guilty to three charges, but instead of receiving a prison sentence, he was given a 12-month suspended sentence with a warning from the judge that any misstep could lead to imprisonment.
