David L. Lewis

David L. Lewis is an American historian and author. He is best known for his books on the history of the American West and the national parks. Lewis has written several books on the subject, including "White Sands National Park: A History". He is a professor emeritus at the University of New Mexico and has a strong background in history and environmental studies. Lewis was born in 1944 in New Mexico, USA.
