David Kirschner is a writer and producer with over three decades of experience in the film industry. He is best known for his work on the animated film An American Tail and the horror film Chucky. Kirschner has also written for numerous other films and television shows, including Star Trek: The Next Generation. He is currently working on the film adaptation of the Hugo and Nebula Award-winning short story, Martian Child. Kirschner is based in Los Angeles, California.
