Dave Garroway was an American television host, best known for hosting the Today Show from 1952 to 1962. He was a pioneer in morning television and was known for his charismatic personality and ability to connect with his audience. Garroway was also a talented musician and played the guitar on the show. He passed away in 1972 at the age of 57.
