Darren Kent
Darren Kent is a former Green Beret and CIA operative. He is the director of the National Counterterrorism Center. Kent has deep counterterrorism experience but has also been associated with far-right groups. He has been a vocal critic of Iran and has warned against another Middle East war. Kent has received support from Republicans, but his views align with those of some Democrats, including Senator Mark Warner.
