Damon Galgut

Damon Galgut is a South African novelist, playwright, and essayist. He was born in 1972 in Cape Town, South Africa. Galgut is best known for his novels, which often explore the complexities of South African history and culture. He has won numerous awards for his work, including the Booker Prize. Galgut is also a professor of English literature at the University of Cape Town.
