Crown Prince Alexander Karađorđević, born in 1945 in London, is a member of the Serbian royal family. His birth was facilitated by Winston Churchill to preserve his claim to the Serbian throne. He is the godson of Queen Elizabeth II and represents a unique Anglo-Serbian royal connection. He is currently involved in efforts to revive the Serbian monarchy under a modern constitutional system.
