Christopher Thornberg

Christopher Thornberg is an American economist, professor, and public policy expert. He is the Director of the Center for the Study of Economics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Thornberg has a strong academic background in economics and has published numerous papers on economic topics. He has also worked as an advisor to politicians and government officials. In 2015, he was appointed by Governor Brian Sandoval as the state's Chief Economist. Thornberg is known for his expertise on state and local economies.
