Cheryl Labrie

Cheryl Labrie was a tax preparer in Anchorage, Alaska, who was sentenced to nearly four years in federal prison for stealing nearly a million dollars in pandemic relief funds. She operated AKBS LLC, which served small businesses, including those in the marijuana industry. Labrie exploited two SBA COVID programs by using stolen identities and forged documents to inflate claims. She pleaded guilty in April and was sentenced for her crimes.
