King of Sicily
Charles d'Anjou was a member of the Capetian dynasty and became King of Sicily in 1266. He was also a brother of King Louis IX of France. Charles played a significant role in the politics of Southern Italy and was involved in various military campaigns, including supporting his brother during the Crusades.
