Charles Coughlin was an American Catholic priest, radio personality, and fascist leader. He was the founder of the National Union for Social Justice and the Christian Front, and was known for his anti-Semitic and anti-communist rhetoric. Coughlin was a popular radio host in the 1930s and 1940s, and was a vocal critic of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal policies.
