Catherine Belton

Catherine Belton is a British journalist and author. She is the author of the book 'Putin's People: How the KGB Took Back Russia and Why Western Leaders Missed It', which won the 2020 Orwell Prize for Political Writing. Belton has written for The Economist and has been a contributor to various other publications. She has also worked as a researcher and editor for several organizations. Belton is a graduate of the University of Cambridge and has a master's degree in economics from the London School of Economics.
