Bruce Lape

Bruce Lape was an 87-year-old man who tragically died in a fatal crash on the Sterling Highway near Kasilof. The incident occurred when Lape failed to yield while turning left onto the highway, resulting in a collision with a southbound minivan. Lape was driving a Subaru Outback and suffered critical injuries, leading to his death in the hospital. His passenger was seriously injured, while the minivan driver escaped unharmed.
