Brittany Murphy was an American actress and singer. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and began her career in the entertainment industry as a child actress. Murphy appeared in several films, including 'Clueless' and 'Girl, Interrupted'. She was also a singer and released several albums. Murphy was married to Simon Monjack and had a daughter. She passed away in 2009 at the age of 32.
