Bob Sheppard

Bob Sheppard was a legendary public address announcer who worked for the New York Yankees and New York Giants. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest public address announcers in sports history. Sheppard was known for his smooth, distinctive baritone voice and his ability to bring excitement to games. He worked for the Yankees from 1951 to 1996 and the Giants from 1956 to 1996. Sheppard was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2011 and was awarded the Ford C. Frick Award in 2006. He is based in New York City.
