Bob Hoover

Bob Hoover was a legendary test pilot, World War II hero, and stunt flyer. Born on December 8, 1914, in West Plains, Missouri, Hoover began his aviation career at a young age. He flew with the US Army Air Forces during World War II and later became a renowned test pilot, flying some of the fastest aircraft of his time. Hoover was also a skilled stunt flyer and performed numerous death-defying stunts throughout his career. He wrote an autobiography, 'Forever Flying', which details his incredible life story.
