Bennett Sousa

Bennett Sousa is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Houston Astros. He was born on October 11, 1997, in Miami, Florida. Sousa attended the University of Miami, where he played college baseball and helped the Hurricanes win the College World Series in 2017. He was drafted by the Astros in the first round of the 2018 MLB draft and made his major league debut in 2020. Sousa is known for his fastball and slider pitches, and has quickly become a key member of the Astros' bullpen.
