Bass Reeves

Bass Reeves was an American lawman, bounty hunter, and former slave. He is best known for his work as a Pinkerton agent and his role in bringing many outlaws to justice. Born into slavery in 1838, Reeves escaped and became a successful cowboy and lawman. He is considered one of the greatest lawmen in American history.
