Bai Xianyong

Bai Xianyong is a Chinese writer and novelist. He was born on June 15, 1946, in Shanghai, China. Bai Xianyong studied at the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Languages and later earned a Ph.D. in literature from the same university. He is known for his novels that explore the lives of ordinary people in China. Bai Xianyong has written over 20 novels and has been awarded several literary prizes.
