Andy McCluskey

Andy McCluskey is a British musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known as the lead vocalist and keyboardist of the synth-pop band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD). Born on November 18, 1959, in Liverpool, England, McCluskey co-founded OMD in 1978. The band achieved significant commercial success in the 1980s with hits like 'Electricity' and 'If You Leave'. McCluskey has also worked as a solo artist and has collaborated with other musicians. He is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of synth-pop and has been inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame.
