Post-war Ustasha war criminal
Andrija Artuković was a Croatian Ustasha officer who served during World War II. After the war, he escaped to Argentina and lived in hiding until his death in the 1970s. Artuković was known for his involvement in the persecution and murder of Jews and other minorities during the war. He was also rumored to have connections to organized crime figures, including Joe Peg Leg Morgan. Despite his notoriety, Artuković remains a relatively unknown figure outside of historical circles.
