Andrew Jackson Caldwell was an American builder and owner of Octagon Hall Museum in Franklin, Tennessee. He built the house between 1847 and 1859, and it is considered one of the most distinctive historic homes in the South. Caldwell was a prominent figure in the community, and his home has played a significant role in the region's history. Unfortunately, little is known about Caldwell's personal life, as he was a private person.
