Andre Young, better known as Dr. Dre, is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur. He is widely regarded as one of the most successful hip-hop artists of all time. Born in Compton, California, Young began his music career in the 1980s as a member of the hip-hop group World Class Wreckin' Cru.
