French Minister of War
André Maginot was a French general and politician who served as the Minister of War from 1928 to 1934. He was born in 1877 in Paris, France. Maginot was a prominent figure in the French military and played a key role in the development of the Maginot Line. He was also a vocal advocate for the construction of the line, which was intended to protect France from potential German aggression. Maginot passed away in 1932.
