Amr bin al-As

Amr bin al-As was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad and a prominent military leader in the early days of Islam. He was born in Mecca and was one of the first Muslims to convert to Islam. Bin al-As played a key role in the conquest of Egypt and Syria, and was known for his bravery and military prowess. He was also a skilled politician and diplomat, and served as the governor of Egypt and Syria. Bin al-As died in 663 CE, and is remembered as a hero of Islam.
