Amín Chalífa Fahíma

Amín Chalífa Fahíma was a Libyan man who was accused and later acquitted of the murder of 270 people in the 1988 PanAm Flight 103 bombing over Lockerbie, Scotland. The bombing remains one of the most notorious aviation disasters in history. Fahíma's involvement in the case was highly publicized, and his eventual acquittal was a significant event in international criminal justice.
