Reformed Theologian and Pastor
Amandus Polanus was a 16th-century German theologian and pastor who was a key figure in the Reformed tradition. He was born in 1535 in Strasbourg, France, and studied theology at the University of Strasbourg. Polanus was a prominent theologian and pastor in the Reformed Church, and he wrote extensively on topics such as the sovereignty of God, the authority of Scripture, and the importance of living a life of faith and obedience. He was also a strong advocate for the importance of biblical preaching and teaching. Polanus died in 1586 in Strasbourg, France.
