Aliye Rostami

Alye (also spelled Aliye or Alih) Rostami was an Iranian singer and songwriter. Born in 1926, she is best known for her distinctive vocals on the song 'Anjoman-e Sefid' ('The White Movement'), which played a significant role in Iran's 1951 coup d'état against Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh.
